is it petty?.... hukmu - Judgement

i am on surah 28 this time and i was captivated by the phrase which i s found twice in this verse.

"lahu-l hukmu wa ilayhi turjaUun"

this is found at the endings of verse 70 and verse 88.

what interests me is that the word "hukmu"  is translated differently in both of the verses.

using RK translation

He is the one GOD; there is no other god beside Him. To Him belongs all praise in this first life, and in the Hereafter. All judgment belongs with Him, and to Him you will be returned.

You shall not worship beside GOD any other god. There is no other god beside Him. Everything perishes except His presence. To Him belongs all sovereignty, and to Him you will be returned.

when you take these two words - "judgement" and "sovereignty" - its application are different. for me anyways

using Quran checker - the word "hukmu" appears 10 times used as the word "hukmu" - what i am not sure is if there are variations of this word and if it is use in the quran - so maybe that is something to check out.

on the same thread looking at surah 12.
 the phrase
"alhukmu illa lillahi" if found twice in verses 40 and 67. and are both translated differently by the author.

You do not worship beside Him except innovations that you have made up, you and your parents. GOD has never authorized such idols. All ruling belongs to GOD, and He has ruled that you shall not worship except Him. This is the perfect religion, but most people do not know.

And he said, "O my sons, do not enter from one door; enter through separate doors. However, I cannot save you from anything that is predetermined by GOD. To GOD belongs all judgments. I trust in Him, and in Him shall all the trusters put their trust.

here is is much closer in translation as judgement and ruling are  nt far apart in application of my understanding.

i am not trying to be smug here - although it feels to me like i am.
but i am going to illustrate for myself that no one person  can say categorically that  their translation is authorised by God. that is such a tall claim..  no one person can say theirs is the best translation - no one person can say they have a grip on the Quran.  best to get variety of translations and decide based on using of words in verse what is the best for you - with God as guidance as to thg intent and application of the verse.

for those who then translate the translated into another  language - the trap continues as they  may fail to grasp the mistakes exhibited by the first translation.
on a side note  translation direct from the source is what i will advocate always and each time - never from the translated material.

so for me " Hukmu" - is judgement - this is the best application of the  word - not sovereignty.. and not ruling..

back on track

so my lord i am asking how is it done,
today i am worried that i am slipping.. its not a case of "i am slipping" but i have already slipped.

the last week  more than any  was very difficult for me.

here i am asking God for another but i have to ask myself truly and  is that wise?.

with just one i am  finding it hard to  keep my obligations of prayer and zakat.
the zakat issue was already embedded long before the salat joined it..
with  zakat i am getting disillusioned in terms of  i feel there is no clear organisation that deals with the issue of orphanage, poor etc.
in our world today, the need to the tennents in scripture - Quran -  with regards to charity is difficult to define.
in africa it may be better.
it is easy to send money to africa but there is an  issue of trust . in that whatever i send is it being used as i asked it to?

here  more than likely - unless you know an organisation dealing with specific need- you have to go through an established organisation - and the issue with this is how much of whatever i am giving is filtering down to those in need and how much is being eaten up as administrative costs.

if i am honest, we cant escape the admin issue as  someone is using their time and resources to reach out to those in need - needs organisation..

then the issue of salat compounds the matter - in this time of very long day and short night - getting to say my last prayer -  of the day is a hurdle. giving that i have to be awake for like 3am for morning prayers,  and then pray and go back to sleep to wake up at 5.30am to get ready for the day -  i am usually beat when i get back home - as i get no chance to sleep at work.
we then go to sleep by 9/10pm at night  and at that time its still not time for prayer - given the season that we are in right now.
so i tell myself i will sleep and wake up to say the night prayer - but i am kidding myself because once i hit the bed - knowing that i am tired - to wake up again - i find myself bargaining with God, telling God please please i am tired what if i lie down and say my prayers or give me 5 mins  - the five minutes i forget to get up and i zonk out - or if i do manage to open my eyes in the 5 mins - i bargain again for another 5 mins.. and so on till i just forget and continue sleeping.

so what can i do my lord.

how did those people of yester-years how did they manage to do it.

looking at Your scriptures, you gave provisions to your servants of many children and wealth -  were they able to manage.

my Lord - i agree that the more you give us, the more  these things takes us away from you. i hold my hands up and confess that yes it is true.

There i was asking for my lot saying that i would not let it take me away from you - but here i am admitting that this is what is happening.

how can i find balance in being a wife, mother, daughter and  before and in front of all that - be a servant to thee o lord.
where is the truth to help us  in this life to see what exactly you want need from us to help us to redeem ourselves in thy sight.
help me God help me.
is it possible to have it all?
to work, to have children, to look after children, to pray, to give, to try to be righteous?
 i want it all.
i believe with thee O lord there is success - with thee there is help.
so please help me o lord help me to be happy, to have my work, to have my children, to be able to look after them, to care for them, to be a good wife - to be a good daughter, and to be a good servant to thee.
help me to get my prayer back on track.

m night devotion - that has fallen down the wayside long long time ago - when i went to PRS i did not have the muster or heart to do any because i felt ashamed that he would hear me and start to go Ott over it - but why is it that i feel ashamed to be able to pray in front of others?
and not pray in the conventional sense but let my heart reach out to thee.

 help me o lord
 Lord i want it all
i want to be righteous -
i want to be ble to pray and also do my night devotions at least once a week
i want to be successful in life and in the hereafter
i want to be a good mother
i want to have children - not child
i want to work and have means from thee o lord to look after myself and my children
i want to be able to give out of  the bounties that you bestow on me
i want to  live comfortably and with  joy
i want to have my own house with stairs and a concrete garden  have a nice looking car and live close by to school and all amenities that i will need and work too.
i want to enjoy this life and the hereafter
god can we have it all? is it possible?
yes my Lord i believe with thy grace, blessing and by they Will it can be and it will be - by thy blessing it will be.
help me o lord to get m life back on track.

Good Advice. i received this in my inbox from an unknown

interesting is what i call it.. not assimilated yet but at a glance i am liking the advice.

1- When I am clean from my mind and from my heart, at such times, I feel myself very close to Allah. This is because, if we have problem in our minds and heart then it may lead us to go astray. 2:10-11, 3:7 [chapter : verse]

2- I start reading AlQuraan by seeking refuge in Allah from Shaitaan 16:98 and these are the words I say for the same as in 23:97-98.

3- I always try to follow Arabic Text, even when I used to read translations, and I used to follow multiple translations [lets say about 8 in different languages that I know by different translators, btw I know only 3-4 languages] to extract the closest meaning of the original text 12:2 and there is no problems in Arabic language 39:28

The best way I found to understand the exact meaning of the words used in Arabic in AlQuraan is to find the same rooted words and check its usage in different aayaats. That helps me a lot.

You can pray how Allah guides you by studying AlQuraan, you don't need to follow anyone 7:3 [rather you can take help from anyone] in the world, cause, Allah guides who He wills and His guidance is the only true and correct guidance 2:120, 39:37. So, better to get direct guidance from Allah.

And no need to pray Salaat in Arabic, you must understand what you SAY [not recite but say] in Salaat 4:43 and you are free to pray your Salaat in your own language, Allah understand all the languages. Through Salaat you can create a link between you and Allah, I believe that you can form such link in your own language strongly, instead of parroting other language. I firmly agree with this undertaking..

In fact, no book on the earth is needed to help to understand AlQuraan correctly. Allah said, there are lot of contradictions in any book other than AlQuraan 4:82 and when Allah is the One who gives you knowledge of AlQuraan 55:1-2, you don't need any other book.

You don't need to get confuse, listen to everyone but ask Allah for help and guidance [it is needed always] toward HIS true path. As I said above, if you are pure from your heart, sincere and honest to yourself, then you don't need to worry, Allah, will surely guide you, but please DO NOT RUSH, there is a time for everything from Allah and wait until Allah judges for you in every case. 10:109 and 20:114. very very true

You don't need to worry for where to take a start, you can read AlQuraan from anywhere, anytime, Allah knows what you need from guidance so, He will show you what you needed depends upon your base knowledge. Believe me, so many times you may get surprise, to get exactly what you were looking for, just by reading AlQuraan randomly from anywhere.

This is all happens because, Allah knows about us, He is our Creator.

I always ask others to study AlQuraan alone cause:

1- We may diviate from the path of Allah if we follow other books as they contain maximum contradictions 4:82

2- What do we need other books for, when we already have everything with us in detail and explained 16:89, 6:38, 6:114

3- We ask Allah for the guidance to the straight path 1:6, Allah said AlQuraan guides you to the straight path 17:9

Hence, no other books needed.

You can start from anywhere, even just by opening AlQuraan randomly from anywhere, that is really helpful, inshaAllah. If you are confused about anything, just seek Allah's help and keep that topic on hold and wait until Allah clarifies it for you 10:109 and 20:114.

Yes you take down notes of what YOU study by yourself to cross reference WHEN you find the similar topic while reading AlQuraan. I used to use marker to mark the words or aayaats straight in AlQuraan [hard copy] itself while reading by adding another sura and aayat number at the side [as side note] where the same word or similar aayat or same topics I find.

InshaAllah, it will help you a lot, again, please DO NOT RUSH it may not lead you anywhere but deviate from the true path of Allah.

mercy

your wonders are great my Lord and your Mercy is intense.
As i watch the boy sleep. chocking with cold..
i am amazed and i ask myself
 how does this all work..
indeed i have to agree my lord that
your wonders are great..
Your care for him
your love and protection on him
i thank You very much for it.
some persons are disbelieving but i choose to believe
that you my Lord are  his lord
hat You my Lord are sustaining him and caring  for him.
i never thought i would get pregnant
i never thought i would have children
when all the trials came to nought
even when i had never had any  child before
even when i had never been pregnant before
when all the pressure was building inside me
all the anguish of seeing a period
the initial misery and jealousy in my heart# when i am told so and so are pregnant
the pressure from my husband asking my and patting my belly
asking for a child
even myself i did not think it could happen
though i was hopeful a part of me didn't know how it could happen
but my Lord.. the God of Zachariyah and John in the scriptures - heard my call
May thy name be glorified and praised always
when i see this boy - i know to thank and praise the O Lord
for indeed it is a mercy from you  unto me.. this boy
and i thank you for this mercy and more from thee o lord.

lonely

Yes my Lord, I miss a sanctuary where I feel I can connecct to you. A place where I can pour my heart to you without shame or. Fear where I can speak to you.. And know that I am safe and secure.
I miss the mosque, not that I used to frequent it a lot but I would go when I had the chance- but in reality I didn't feel connected to you there anyways.. But I miss someplace like a mosque... I miss group worship..not that its do or die. But sometimes its a nice feeling to know that you are not the only person in the world.
God you are the only one devoid of partnership, you stand alone in your creation, you don't need anyone at all

Help me my Lord.. overcome my demons

Dear Lord,
truth be told that i am lagging behind in my obligations and i am ashamed to confirm that such it is.
i ask thee for strenght and patience and courage to continue with that which i must.
I ask thee for spirit to invigorate my life  to forever praise, glorify and acclaim thee.
I beg of thee not to hasten retribution upon me for my forgetfulness, for what is my lack luster and for my tiredness.

these times of  long days and short nights - the accumulation of  looking after the boy are telling on me my Lord. it is not an excuse and there can never be an excuse where you my Lord are concerned.

evening prayers are becoming an issue for me - in that i am tired by the time comes and i want to sleep that i consiously seek your forgiveness as i fall asleep - i am drowsy to get up to do my obligation.

this time of long days and what is " no true dark night" also reinforces the  3vs 5 prayer issue.. but i dont want to say i am lazy to perform 5 prayers so i fall for 3... no ...

i will admit to myself that i have tried the 3 prayer and my heart felt at peace - that i could just pray to God, i was not bogged down by you have to  do so many salat - i just prayed and done as many prostration as my spirit were able.

but i am still searching for a clue still searching in your words of scripture to try to understand so i can have clear guidance without ambguity without doubt.
By your grace, i will not be afraid to do that which i have to do by your grace i will stand strong..

Remember Lord some many years ago i asked of thee that when the crunch comes to the crunch - let me never forsake thee.. let me not deny thee - for Thou have never forsaken me and Thou have never denied me - you have kept me, looked after me, blessed me with they help and kindness and mercy....
if not for anything - if not for any fear of hell or promise of heaven... let me never forsake thee for just because Thou have never forsaken me... thou have always listened to me and By your grace and with the kindness that Thou  does bestow Long may it continue in this life and in the next.

Keep guiding me to thee  O lord to always remember to worship thee, to praise thee, to Glorify and acclaim thee - to magnify thy name for thy name is Good, thy name is great and thou My Lord are a merciful God.
help me to overcome my demons - for they are troubling me again... that which i thought i had a grip on is back to torment me - give me strength within to overcome - to stand fast and stand still - unshaken by desire or lust..
help me to get  back to a routine - of night time meditation - help me and give me strength from thee.. keep me observant of thee... Like Mary in the scripture bless me and guide me to thee  as i ask just like the wife of pharaoh - My Lord build for me a place with thee in paradise...

All Glory is Yours my Lord
all Praise, Authority and Kingship
In this Life and in the next
Be Thou Glorified My Lord.

Thank You Lord

A Massive Thank you to my Creator - my God, the Most Gracious Lord for his blessings upon me in relation to the care of my child.

i am grateful my Lord and  i do feel blessed and awed by you kindness and grace towards me..
i thank you from the bottom of my heart and pray that by your grace long may it continue with regards the peace and welfare for this boy.
You are my Lord - Most Gracious and  for sure i have none but thee as Master and creator. you are my provider and countless of times you live up to  the hope that i have placed with Thee. Be thou glorified My Lord.
Let me be one of those who can testif and say that the LORD is Good... The Lord is King.. the lord is wonderful..My God is True..

My Lord guide us to thee, to worship thee and praise thee, in all aspects of our lives.. let us some nearer and nearer to thee in spirit and in action to acclaim that there is no other God but the Most Gracious Lord.
The Lord before and now and always forever.

Plea

when something weights heavily on my mind i run to you oh lord and i have spoken to you in my heart regarding this issue.

everything i believe is by your grace and my path in life is orchestrated and led by you.

i made you a secret call  when my husband and family were pressuring me and you granted me a child that i have dedicated to you. his name alone is testament to your  glory and mercy so that every day i am reminded that indeed the Most Gracious Lord is good and kind..

tomorrow he will be starting to be looked after during the day by a child minder..
My Lord you have led me to this woman.. she is the first person on the list of people i called.
for whatever reason i have chosen her as i let your guidance on the boy shine through.
when he was  at her house, he felt at ease, was able to walk around and touch and  allowed her to carry him.

which is unusual for the boy as he does  warm to everyone.

My Lord you have led me tot his woman - Please let  your grace and mercy be upon this woman and her household  in looking after my boy. Please let him come to  no harm or abuse or worry. Let him be secure and let him be at ease and find peace, let him enjoy as he should enjoy.
Lord please let him listen to her and not give her too much bother. Let him eat and sleep without fuss.

My Lord this woman that your fate has led me to  - Bless her and give her the patience, and ease to look after my boy.. Let her  treat him with kindness and with care.. i would like to say let her love him.. but i dont know if that is possible.. for she has children of her own.. but let her be fond of him.. Give her peace and security and let them gel well together..

My Lord my mother  was looking after my boy before for me, Lord bless her with your magical blessings and thank her for me for looking after my boy and giving me the security and peace of mind to be able to go to work.. My Lord grant her your provisions of the best kind in this life and the next and bring her to thee..

My Lord i am worried, i know i should not be because i can say that when i say that the Most gracious is looking after my boy i know  its true. it is not just a saying..; I have begged of thee and sought your protection on this child from thee. His welfare is overseen by thee, in that your grace, care and blessings is on him and will be on him by thy will.

you are my Lord, you are his lord, of that there is no doubt. Bless him O lord of mine, Guide him, keep him safe - in this crazy world of ours with crazy people and  out of control urges - Protect him from harm/abuse. Keep him well, Keep him safe..

Keep me well and keep me safe too o Lord and help me to show him the best of examples, Help me to bring him up with the best  of attitudes and Guide us both to your path.

Let life not be difficult for him. Let him find ease, Let the difficulties not be too weary for him, Let him be humble and Let him worship Thee, For all his life guide him  and keep him to you.
Choose him, My lord just like you  chose moses and guide him with humility and kindness just like the son of zakariya in the scripture...He is of your stock my Lord, to worship thee and praise thee, to glorify thee and uphold your scriptures..

As i am asking for my second,, My Lord please do not forget me too.. Guide me to worship thee,  and keep me with thee to Praise thee, Glorify thee in all of my days.. That i can say hand on heart to anyone who cares to listen/read that The Most Gracious is my Lord, in this life and in the next.

refocus

i am wondering how my life got to this.
how is it that i could be  soooooooooooooooo stupid to make the wrong choice.
that i could have been sooo fooled by this person.
this is the thought in my mind today and will be for some time.
but when one makes a mistake one seeks God for advice and solace..
so Most gracious i come to you to give me the strength needed and courage needed to  stand on my feet.
that i may get my life back on track with only one purpose - worshiping thee as best as i can

Hasanat, Hasanatun, Hasanati.. what is it exactly

Here is another example of the interchanging uses of the word in Arabic amongst his translations. and by his i mean Rashad khalifas translation - for which i am using as template to try  read the Quran...
It struck my interest still on surah 7.
On searching the quran for the word hasanat –

it gave me the following

2:201 – in which  hasanat is translated as righteougneess.
Others would say, "Our Lord, grant us righteousness in this world, and righteousness in the Hereafter, and spare us the retribution of Hell."

3:120 - here hasanatun is used as good. – and more interestingly tattaqoo is used for righteoueness. -the Arabic text didn’t copy and paste properly so I have not put it.
In tamsaskum hasanatun tasuhum wain tusibkum sayyiatun yafrahoo biha wain tasbiroo watattaqoo layadurrukum kayduhum shayan inna Allaha bima yaAAmaloona muheetun
When anything good comes your way they hurt, and when something bad happens to you they rejoice. If you steadfastly persevere, and maintain righteousness, their schemes will never hurt you. GOD is fully aware of everything they do.

4:40 – hasanatun is used as righteousness
GOD does not inflict an atom's weight of injustice. On the contrary, He multiplies the reward manifold for the righteous work, and grants from Him a great recompense.

4:48 – hasanatun  is used as good
Aynama takoonoo yudrikkumu almawtu walaw kuntum fee buroojin mushayyadatin wain tusibhum hasanatun yaqooloo hathihi min AAindi Allahi wain tusibhum sayyiatun yaqooloo hathihi min AAindika qul kullun min AAindi Allahi famali haolai alqawmi la yakadoona yafqahoona hadeethan
Wherever you are, death will catch up with you, even if you live in formidable castles. When something good happens to them, they say, "This is from GOD," and when something bad afflicts them, they blame you. Say, "Everything comes from GOD." Why do these people misunderstand almost everything?

4:79 –  hasanatin is used as good
Ma asabaka min hasanatin famina Allahi wama asabaka min sayyiatin famin nafsika waarsalnaka lilnnasi rasoolan wakafa biAllahi shaheedan
Anything good that happens to you is from GOD, and anything bad that happens to you is from you. We have sent you as a messenger to the people, and GOD suffices as witness.

4:85 – hasanatan is used as good
Man yashfaAA shafaAAatan hasanatan yakun lahu naseebun minha waman yashfaAA shafaAAatan sayyiatan yakun lahu kiflun minha wakana Allahu AAala kulli shayin muqeetan
Whoever mediates a good deed receives a share of the credit thereof, and whoever mediates an evil work, incurs a share thereof. GOD controls all things.

6:160 – hasanati is used as righteous
Man jaa bialhasanati falahu AAashru amth1
Whoever does a righteous work receives the reward for ten, and the one who commits a sin is requited for only one. No one suffers the slightest injustice.

7:95  hasanati – I am not sure but I reckon used as “peace and prosperity”
Thumma baddalna makana alssayyiati alhasanata hatta AAafaw waqaloo qad massa abaana alddarrao waalssarrao faakhathnahum baghtatan wahum la yashAAuroona
Then we substituted peace and prosperity in place of that hardship. But alas, they turned heedless and said, "It was our parents who experienced that hardship before prosperity." Consequently, we punished them suddenly when they least expected.

From hence I will will shorten but URGE you to check yourselves. -  i fear its laziness and lack of patience that makes me not add the transliteration and arabic where i can....

7:131 – hasanatu Is used as good
7:156  - hasanatun Is used as righteous
7:168   - righteous is used here as salihuna and hasanati is used as prosperity
9:50 – hasanatun Is used as good
11:114 – hasanati Is used as righteous
13:6 – hasanati is used as righteous
13:22 - Hasanati is used as good
16:30 – hasanatun  is used as righteous whilst also righteousness is used as mutaqina
16:41 – hasanatan is not translated directly
16:122 – hasanatan is used as happiness
16:125 – hasanati is not translated directly but forms part of “king enlightenment”
25:70 – hasanati is used as credits
27:46 - Hasanati – good works
27:89 – hasanati  - good works
28:54 – hasanati – good works
28:84 – hasanati – righteousness
33:21 – hasanatun – good
39:10 - Ahsanu is used as righteousness whilst hasanatun is used as good works
41:34 – hasanatu is good
42:23 – hasanatan – righteous works
60:4 – hasanatun - good
60:6 – hasanatun – good

sahirin - clever or experienced?

consider the following verses

Both are translated as thus:
7:109 The leaders among Pharaoh's people said, "This is no more than a clever magician.
7:112 - "Let them summon every experienced magician."

what makes one magician experienced and one clever???
in relation to sahirin aalimun(109)  and sahirin aalimun(112)??

the arabic is pretty much the same?

for me i gather "knowledgeable" magician as  being more apt ..

onto another note - surah 7, 20, 26, 10, similar in relation to the magicians, pharaoh and moses.

Alaa llahi - what does this mean??

i am searching for the correct  or closest to translation for this word "Alaa" which i find in Surat 7 verses 69 and 74.

 7:69
AwaAAajibtum an jaakum thikrun min rabbikum AAala rajulin minkum liyunthirakum waothkuroo ith jaAAalakum khulafaa min baAAdi qawmi noohin wazadakum fee alkhalqi bastatan faothkuroo alaa Allahi laAAallakum tuflihoona

RK translation - Is it too much of a wonder that a message should come to you from your Lord, through a man like you, to warn you? Recall that He made you inheritors after the people of Noah, and multiplied your number. Remember GOD's blessings, that you may succeed."

http://www.submission.org/d/x/webqt.php

the Phrase in question is highlighted in red "faothkuroo alaa Allahi or Fadhkuruu alaa Llahi( as i would write it)" which is translated as "remember Gods Blessings" in RK translation.

7:74
Waothkuroo ith jaAAalakum khulafaa min baAAdi AAadin wabawwaakum fee alardi tattakhithoona min suhoolihaqusooran watanhitoona aljibala buyootan faothkuroo alaa Allahi wala taAAthaw fee alardi mufsideena

RK translation - "Recall that He made you inheritors after `Ãd, and established you on earth, building mansions in its valleys, and carving homes from its mountains. You shall remember GOD's blessings, and do not roam the earth corruptingly."

so i don't understand because the translation for blessing is baraka?? with the root words Ba, Ra, Kaf.

anyways so i came across another verse 2:105
Ma yawaddu allatheena kafaroo min ahli alkitabi wala almushrikeena an yunazzala AAalaykum min khayrin min rabbikum waAllahu yakhtassu birahmatihi man yashao waAllahu thoo alfadli alAAatheemi

which RK translates as - Neither the disbelievers among the followers of the scripture, nor the idol worshipers, wish to see any blessings come down to you from your Lord. However, GOD showers His blessings upon whomever He chooses. GOD possesses infinite grace.

on looking at the arabic - the from phrase - "God showers his blessings upon whomever he chooses" the arabic reads waAllahu yakhtassu birahmatihi man yashao - God yakhtassu his mercy man yashao -
do you see what  i am getting at.
For me - Ramatihi -  is a derivative of mercy -  so fitting translation for me  may look like - God  showers from his mercy to whom he wills. as opposed to  using blessing when the arabic is  rahmatihi - which in other verses is used as mercy not blessings..

on a  side note  - mercy is also a blessing of God.

for me i would just appreciate  the non-confusion - and the  non-mixing and matching to suit one's purpose.
Call a spade a spade - and don't be ambiguous - God is the one who will drive meaning into each and every of our hearts.
As God is the one who knows us all,   the association and meaning we get from words will be different - we will all take to it different - God is in charge of that.
but truthfulness is being clear and being honest - in the pursuit of God - i will not accept anything less.
i will applaud and support what i find to be clear that i can recommend it.
but my feelings so far is that no one person can claim to have the correct translation of words  and the part where in the Quran it says to examine all word rings more ever true and true..
at this minute i don't think it is an authorised  translation -
authorised yes by the author who wrote the translation. this cannot be taken as Gospel as having the best translation in it - it makes a good read that is what it does - but GOOD READ is not truth and understanding. Good read is like fiction - which crumbles when you take a closer look and inspection of the material.
and to everyone else that is just taking a blind hand in translation of the material to other languages from the english translated - i guess are fooling themselves because - one can only translate from an original - not from a second hand.
english translation is secondhand - and to  translate from secondhand - is foolish and foolhardy.

Flip side  - maybe there is a link in all the missing words translated - if we can collate them do they read into a statement?

God is God will always be God and remain God - We should worship God alone and devote  everything to God - i feel strongly about this - but in doing this let us advocate what is true and just in the message of God - if we choose to hide it/alter it it then to God is our reckoning.

PS   if you manage to find  this word "alaa llahi" can someone  please let me know. i have tried searching the Quran but i didn't find any other word like it"

tabaraka Allahu or taAAala Allahu

 examine these  verses... 7:54

Inna rabbakumu Allahu allathee khalaqa alssamawati waalarda fee sittati ayyamin thumma istawa AAala alAAarshi yughshee allayla alnnahara yatlubuhu hatheethan waalshshamsa waalqamara waalnnujooma musakhkharatin biamrihi ala lahu alkhalqu waalamru tabaraka Allahu rabbu alAAalameena

the phrase Tabaraka Allahu - is translates as *Most Exalted is God* using Rk translation

Your Lord is the one GOD, who created the heavens and the earth in six days, then assumed all authority. The night overtakes the day, as it pursues it persistently, and the sun, the moon, and the stars are committed to serve by His command. Absolutely, He controls all creation and all commands. Most Exalted is GOD, Lord of the universe.

 in another verse 23:116

FataAAala Allahu almaliku alhaqqu la ilaha illa huwa rabbu alAAarshi alkareemi

The phrase Fa TaAAala Allahu is translated as "Most Exalted is God" using Rk translation

and in 27:63

Amman yahdeekum fee thulumati albarri waalbahri waman yursilu alrriyaha bushran bayna yaday rahmatihi ailahun maAAa Allahi taAAala Allahu AAamma yushrikoona

Who is the One who guides you in the darkness of land and sea? Who is the One who sends the winds with good news, signaling His mercy? Is it another god with GOD? Most exalted is GOD, above having any partner.

The phrase TaAAala Allahu is used as "Most Exalted is God"

 in verse 40:64

Allahu allathee jaAAala lakumu alarda qararan waalssamaa binaan wasawwarakum faahsana suwarakum warazaqakum mina alttayyibati thalikumu Allahu rabbukum fatabaraka Allahu rabbu alAAalameena

GOD is the One who rendered the earth habitable for you, and the sky a formidable structure, and He designed you, and designed you well. He is the One who provides you with good provisions. Such is GOD your Lord; Most Exalted is GOD, Lord of the universe.

the phrase tabaraka allahu is translated as "Most Exalted is God"

in 43:85  is used "Watabaraka" for Most Exalted
Most Exalted is the One who possesses all sovereignty of the heavens and the earth, and everything between them. With Him is the knowledge about the Hour (end of the world), and to Him you will be returned.

in 55:78 - " tabaraka" is used for Most exalted
Most exalted is the name of your Lord, Possessor of Majesty and Honor.

in 67:1 - "tabaraka" is used for Most Exalted
Most exalted is the One in whose hands is all kingship, and He is Omnipotent.

so which is it?

i am inclined to go "Tabaraka Allahu" is "Most Blessed is God" based on my notion that baraka is blessing and tabaraka will be a derivate of baraka.

see the conjoining of arabic letters ba - ra - kaf in http://corpus.quran.com/qurandictionary.jsp?q=brk

it reminds me og older scriptures when it reads Blessed be the name of the Lord e,g Psalm 113:2

it is this interchanging of words that i dont understand,
