My lord let me be appreciative of the blessings you have bestowed on me

Blessed is the name of God in all the heavens  and earth. The most gracious is my only lord and master.

"He said since that you have willed that I go astray I will skulk for them on your straight path........you will find that most of them are unappreciative." (7:16-17)

I agree that we are unappreciative.  We are unappreciative because  it's like we loose ourselves in our blessings. We get consumed by the rewards and forget and we fall into sin by forgetting . When God grants us..we are sooo happy at first we thank him a lot and the more we enjoy we thank him less until we take it for granted and stop thanking him. We stop how we were because the blessing changes us. It Changes who we are......it is only the truly fortunate that still holds on even by the smallest of chords.. holds on and remembers to thank and to be as they were or even more.... most of us become  changed and we loose a part of our  souls revelling in our blessing.

God help me find my way to you  and keep me with you on your path. Help my children to know you and keep them with you.  In this time in my life that I feel everything is gone a wry  I know no other help, no other salvation but to come to thy feet and ask for help. Whether it be joy or sadness let me always find my way to thee o lord. Let it be that thy praise is the first and in between  and last of my thoughts on a daily basis.
I look all around me and I don't like what I see..our community have long forgotten God but my lord I don't want to forget you. I want to always be reminded of you and the joy of your praise.
