dear God...

Dear Lord,

I need thy help and i need strenght courage and wisdon from thee.
i feel soooooooo lost and i am getting weary.
this year my Lord has tested me in many ways more than one - i have failed thee, i have failed to capture the zest in prayer to thee -
i have let life come before my relationship with thee.
but i am here to thee right now, asking for thy helping hand.
forvever my lord, le me be devoted to thee - to praise and exalt, to magnify and honour thee.

i have failed thee in that i have let life and mounting pressures disuade me from my obligations to thee - of that i stand guilty - and in as much as i confess - i put myself at thy feet - seeking mercy and comfort from thee.

you have provided me with a wonderful bounty - of which i am continually asking for good health and guidance with regards to it.. i need your help o lord.

tomorrow is my birthday - i will be 32 i guess, somepart of me is thinking i am suffering from some sort of depression - i feel so alone and lost - on a physical sense i feel alone - on a spiritual sense i feel lost - i need to find my way back to thee - to capture the zest to be able to sift through the maze of life with its misinformation with regards to thee - the only one i can rely on is you.
even your scriptures to an extent people have tainted with mistranslation - thereby confusing and confounding matters - but true understanding and knowledge lies with thee o Lord and you impart such knowledge unto whomever you will.

i need thee o lord for i dont know what to do - i need thee o lord
Dear lord, guide me to thee in this life and hereafter - thereby making my heart cognisant with your praise and worship - guide me to thee with thy light which illuminates all things 0 take me out of teh darkness which seems to cloud my days .
moving forward i ask for a good delivery, a healthy child - a righteous child - abled bodied with all faculties of hearing, speech, understanding - a child that will be devoted to thee as well - who will join me in praising and worshipping thee.
moving forward i ask for resolution of financial isues - i ask for approval and success from thee with work.
moving forward my lord i ask for contentment and happiness in all that i am and do
moving forward i ask thee o lord for forgiveness of my sins - keep me away from sin and evil and keep them away from me. keep my heart devoted to thee - through worship and praise, keep me glorifying thee night and day. let me never tire in this regard and let me not waiver in my obligations to thee. help me to understand my obligations - to understand them in truth and with logic in order that i may excel in them.
there is so much falseness and untruth in life - help me to overcome them - any obstacle in front of me help me to scale them.
my Lord i am needing thee more and more - i feel no guilt coming to thee for thou art my Lord - thou art my provider, my only source of help and comfort.
i need thee o lord i need thee

right now i am not happy my lord so i seek courage from Thee,
i seek patience and guidance on this path that i have facing me.
the whole past episodes have left a bitter taste in my mouth, it is making me regret, making me reconsider because i cannot seem to rationalise how the one i love can be this way.

whilst now he is trying i am afraid it may be late -

All i keep getting played back in my head is all the past irrational behaviours - how is it that one can change like that.

life is ever changing - i know that i am not saying i am perfect and without blame myself - but all this emotional state that i am i snot helping me in the slightest.

i am not happy where i am becauase i have been bullied to come here - and i have to acknowledge that it is bullying. my last experience here was not that great and i was reluctant to come back -

my Lord i am in dire need of your Help and guidance....

let me no lie my dear Lord, i am afraid... afraid of the uncertainty that lies ahead of me.. afraid that the person i love does not really love me but married me for "marry sake".. i am afraid that i have yet fallen into another gullible test again and let it defeat me...
i am afraid my Lord.. but as i said earlier.. prayer is the key.. with you there is hope and light and with you, i cannot let fear to become a hinderance on me...
so boldly in the name of God i will to to this place..
just as it is in the scripture - when noah says - in the name of God shall be its sailing and its moorings( khalifa translation 11:41) so i too Gw say in the name of God shall be my depature and arrival....
i trust in thee heavily dear Lord, of this i have no choice nor do i seek to have a choice..
you are the Lord who has looked after me from infancy, cared for me, sustained me, guided me and inspired me.. i seek to rely on thee heavily these coming months and forever after and i ask for your help and blessings, your guidance, patience, inspiration and care and good favour...
i fear that i am weak, but whence i trust in thee i find strenght..
i have asked from thee and you have given me...what a remarkable feeling to say that i asked of the Lord and He answered me... i beg of thee to please make things ok and alright,

Quranic Salat

The numbers of regular daily prayers “Salat” mentioned by their respective names in Arabic as a “term” in the “Quran” are “three” as follows:

1- Salat Fajr (صَلَاةِ الْفَجْرِ) (Dawn Prayer), (Sura Al-Nur 24:58).

2- Al-Salat Al-Wusta (الصَّلاَةِ الْوُسْطَى) or (الصَّلاَةَ لِدُلُوكِ الشَّمْسِ إِلَى غَسَقِ اللَّيْلِ ) (or The Middle Prayer), (Sura Al-Baqarah 2:238) and (Sura Al-Isra 17:78).

3- Salat Isha’a (صَلَاةِ الْعِشَاءِ) (Night Prayer), (Sura Al-Nur 24:58).

Note that (الصَّلاَةِ الْوُسْطَى) in (Sura Al-Baqarah 2:238) and (الصَّلاَةَ لِدُلُوكِ الشَّمْسِ إِلَى غَسَقِ اللَّيْلِ ) in (Sura Al-Isra 17:78) are the same “Salat” because these both “Salat” has (ال) common with them indicating that these are the same “Salat” as compared to (صَلَاةِ الْفَجْرِ) and (صَلَاةِ الْعِشَاءِ) which are without (ال) with word (صَلَاةِِ).
(ال) in Arabic is equivalent to the word “The” in English, indicating the importance of the middle prayer.

The following three “Salat” which are not mentioned in “Quran” by their names as a “term” in Arabic are as:

1- Salat Dhuhr (ظهر).

2- Salat Asr (عصر).

3- Salat Maghrib (مغرب).

Although, the words “Dhuhr (ظهر)”, “Asr (عصر)” and “Maghrib (مغرب)” are used in Quran but not as a “Term” defining “Salat”. In Sura Al-Nur 24: 58, the word “noon” is used but not as a “Salat Time” or as a “Salat Al-Dhuhr” but rather than as a “Time of Privacy/Rest Time”. For references and proof of the fact stated above, read the following verses in the Quran in Arabic & English.

حَافِظُواْ عَلَى الصَّلَوَاتِ والصَّلاَةِ الْوُسْطَى وَقُومُواْ لِلّهِ قَانِتِينَ

(Sura Al-Baqarah 2:238).

Guard strictly your (habit of) prayers, especially the Middle Prayer; and stand before Allah in a devout (frame of mind). (Sura Al-Baqarah 2:238).

أَقِمِ الصَّلاَةَ لِدُلُوكِ الشَّمْسِ إِلَى غَسَقِ اللَّيْلِ وَقُرْآنَ الْفَجْرِ إِنَّ قُرْآنَ الْفَجْرِ كَانَ مَشْهُودًا

(Sura Al-Isra 17:78).

Establish regular prayers – at the sun’s decline till the darkness of the night, and the morning prayer and reading: for the prayer and reading in the morning carry their testimony. (Sura Al-Isra 17:78).

يَا أَيُّهَا الَّذِينَ آمَنُوا لِيَسْتَأْذِنكُمُ الَّذِينَ مَلَكَتْ أَيْمَانُكُمْ وَالَّذِينَ لَمْ يَبْلُغُوا الْحُلُمَ مِنكُمْ ثَلَاثَ مَرَّاتٍ مِن قَبْلِ صَلَاةِ الْفَجْرِ وَحِينَ تَضَعُونَ ثِيَابَكُم مِّنَ الظَّهِيرَةِ وَمِن بَعْدِ صَلَاةِ الْعِشَاءِ ثَلَاثُ عَوْرَاتٍ لَّكُمْ لَيْسَ عَلَيْكُمْ وَلَا عَلَيْهِمْ جُنَاحٌ بَعْدَهُنَّ طَوَّافُونَ عَلَيْكُم بَعْضُكُمْ عَلَى بَعْضٍ كَذَلِكَ يُبَيِّنُ اللَّهُ لَكُمُ الْآيَاتِ وَاللَّهُ عَلِيمٌ حَكِيمٌ

(Sura Al-Nur 24: 58.).

O ye who believe! let those whom your right hand possess, and those of you, who have not reached puberty, ask leave of you at three times before coming into your private apartments -before the Morning Prayer (Salat Al-Fajr), and when you lay aside your clothes at noon (in summer) and after the night Prayer (Salat Al-Esha). These are the three times of privacy for you. At other times there is no blame on you nor on them, for some of you have to attend upon others and to move about freely according to need. Thus does Allah make plain to you the Signs; for Allah is All-Knowing, Wise. (Sura Al-Nur 24: 58.).

subhi is in the quran - but not used in connotation of prayer...

Yusuf Ali - Until, when he reached the setting of the sun, he found it set in a spring of murky water: Near it he found a People: We said: "O Zul-qarnain! (thou hast authority,) either to punish them, or to treat them with kindness."
Pickthal - Till, when he reached the setting-place of the sun, he found it setting in a muddy spring, and found a people thereabout. We said: O Dhu'l-Qarneyn! Either punish or show them kindness.
