so from 96- 68 then you have 73 and 74

then you have 1 and 111 and now its 81



it starts to make me wonder, how much time lapsed between the revealation.. it is interesting to note.



surah 73 - cloaked - whenever i read this surah it makes me think of the human being as the cloaked one. we all know that our body forms is not lasting - the only thing that is is us as a form is our spirit/soul - so the covering of our essence/spirit/soul is with this form called the body -



in some ways i can link it to the notable stories of adam and eve - whose cognation of the fact that they were naked was realised upon them when they tasted of the tree ( i dont know if this is babble but it is interesting)



73 - which tells of the virtue of meditation especially at night (reading the Quran as well - if one cant manage the meditation - which also reminds us to hold steadfast to God - reminds of the everlastng bond - salat, zakat and righteousness to God. hmmm - what an interesting surah it is

surah 74 - hidden secret - this is the verse with the 19 thing - nuff said - it reminds us of the human being and our real selfish unappreciative self, - so much we are given from God and so many times we turn back on God - God have mercy on us and guide us right - it also lets us remember that all is in Gods control - always been - will always be.
when i think of this surah again - i think that yes - it is true - no one can attain guidance except in accordance with Gods will - and it re-inforces for me again - whatever we will is in accordance with the will of God -

surah 1 - daily prayer - evident but then i see the first verse as Praise be to God, Lord of the universe - this for me is the essence of all prayer to the MG. the surah is a prayer in itself - it is a supplication of praise and Magnification to the Most High. Master of all creation, it is a prayer of guidance and light - it is in itself very simple and purposeful

surah 111 - the abu lahab curse - i just think crikey!!! dat man must have done something big big big bad man - God does as He wills
