Reading and Writing

MG it is not that i dont want to speak, but i was rather occupied the last couple of days.
so much to say some much to reflect, so much i want ask but i dont yet know how to ask.
but thatis another topic for another time.

today before i forget and i give in to tiredness of mind and body i wanted to comment on the interesting coincidence of surah 96 and surah 68.

this time it is in revealation order - Surah 96 - Iqrah - Read - was the first surah revealed.

I remember from childhood - Read in the name of your lord who created - He created man from an embryo - I seek refuge with God the MG, - Read and your Lord Most Exalted - teaches by means of the pen - teaches man what he never knew - these are the first 5 verses (subject to slight translation issues - depending on qhich Quran you read)

Then you also have Suran 68 - Qalam - Pen

I seek refuge with God MG, The Pen and what they( people) write - you have attained a great blessing from your Lord, you are not crazy - you have attained a recompense that is well desrved - You are blesed with a great moral character - You will see and they will see.

it is interesting - we know the Quran was revealed to Mohammed - as a scripture meant for the world - in the Quran you have the statute( which are the laws of God) and you have the history part - which tells you of people of the past and their lives and custome and it lso seeks to correct some misconceptions.

surah 96 is quite clear - i reckon that as the first part of the scripture to be revealed - when you are faced such a great task - you read - read what - you read what you have written, you get inspired to write and you read - You read in the name of God the MG - the God ho creates and teaches by means of the pen..

Sometimes you can amplify this surah 96 on so many levels it is amazing how many thoughts come into ones mind.

then you have the next surah after that - the pen - is it of any significance?

Pen and the writers who own the, Words and their importance - Tranlations and their misconstrusions,

in this surah 68 - we learn a lesson of those who were sure of their harvest that they became proud and pompous( my view) it came to nothing - They forgot God and were requited.

We learn of God's first command - Essence of Faith - believeing and trusting in God, not flinching but remaining in Gods path - we are reminded of Gods mercy to Jonah( jonah was the person - according to history as i remember it - who ran away from Gods calling and threw himself in the fish - and prayed to God for forgiveness - the famous prayer - There is no other God but thee - Be thou Gkorified - i have committed a gross sin - God had mercy on him and made the fish eject him onto land)

it is interesting you know - Read and then the Pen

on a personal achievement level i want to exlore the revealation order and read and study along those lines - gw .

on another note - some people say mohammed was an illetrate - btu in some ways dont share this feeling
even bythe revealatio of the Quran itself - Read - in order to read you either have to be given a manuscript physically or you are faced with matrial that you hav written.

i dont think there is anywhere( i am not sure of this) or anyone that claims the prophet was given a book directly in format -

infact when i start to think of all the propaganda and mistruths that we are fed down oer the years i take solace that god is definitely in control and i ask that God guides me in everything in life and death
