Remember Job...

And Job when he called his Lord: "I have been inflicted with harm, and you are the Most Merciful!" 21:83


I am inspired to remember Job today and his conduct towards and dependance on His lord.. and i am hoping and praying that My Lord will grant me such a devotion to Him (God)and an eternal reverence for Him (God). That i can say inspite and despite in the face of all and nothing. That Be you Glorified God, Lord of the universe

Now that was a person that re-iterated clearly the meaning of "Unquavering dependance" who inspite of his trials, stuck fast to his Lord...
History indeed does try to teach us a few things, but are we ready to learn.. Whilst i see it now.. will i see it in future..

My God, let me not depart from Thee,

Let my heart harken unto Thy words daily

Let my lips rank eloquent in Your remembrance

Increase in my understanding and knowledge of all things from Thee

Glory be to thee, in this life time and in the next

Glory be to thee my Lord forever and ever more

Dismiss me not from thy service Lord

But train me for Thy will

for even I in fields so broad

Some duties I may fulfill

and i shall ask for no reward

Except to serve thee still
