Resolutions are one a penny
The heart is there but the spirit is sometimes weak and cowardly.
Resolution are intentions yearly
Not seeing them through can make us weary
This year my Lord I ask so sincerely.
To see thee more clearly
Love thee more dearly
Follow thee more nearly
Day by Day
For with thee my Lord I find strenght
And in thee My Lord I discover truth
The truth which is out there
The truth which liberates all fears
For in truth, I can grow, I see and I know
For with your truth, my Lord, my spirit flows.
This year, Lord I hope I dont ask for much
For no wish is beyond your delicate touch
This year Lord I desire to serve thee
To worship, to see and to believe
Money and riches holds no weight with me
Money and riches may in fact strangle me
My heart desires You, all things which comes from thee
My soul desires truth so it can be free
Keep me bound to thy service Lord
Keep me bound in thy worship Lord
For I have no desire to let Go
No desire to go and depart myself from thee.
For all Praise is Yours, all Authority, Kingship and Glory is yours my Lord
In this life and in the hereafter, there is no other God but Thee
Be you Glorified, Most Gracious Lord
