i read this verse and it jumped out to me
Surah 11:31.
i do not claim that i possess the treasures of God nor do i know the future, nor do i claim to be an angel, nor DO I SAY TO THOSE DESPISED BY YOUR EYES THAT GOD WILL NOT BESTOW ANY BLESSINGS UPON THEM. GOD KNOWS WHAT IS BEST IN THEIR INNERMOST THOUGHTS (if i did this) I WOULD BE A TRANSGRESSOR.
the impact for me in particular is the one in capital letters.
I look to my own life and i immediately thought of my own situation. Its easy for us all to go, God i dont like that person, they are evil, they are murdurous, they are dis dat dat dat... But in all fairness, we only know what we see on the outside.. and for most of us all, ouu outside actions may have no semblance to what our true intentions really are.
Only God knows intentions of each person, that is why God is the Ultimate Judge..
In this life of mis-haps, true intentions- good or bad - can sometimes not go the way we wish it to go...
So in the moment of frenzy and spit-hating, Lord help us to realise that things may not appear the way it seems, and help us to take a moment to remember You and remember this verse. Gw
